The Corning Museum of Glass is where the world — from serious scholars to those simply interested in discovering — turns to learn more about the art, history, craft or technology of this incredible material.
A truly unique institution, Corning Museum of Glass offers the world's most complete collection of art and historical glass. The museum has a fully equipped glassworking studio offering year-round courses in all levels of glassmaking. The Rakow Research library is the world's library of record and the finest collection of research materials related to art, history, craft and technology of glass. It is this essential integrity that became the basis for a rebranding project that included a new identifier, exhibition and lecture series posters, roadside billboards and website. The identifier mark telegraphs the idea of glass and also alludes to the unique architecture of the museum campus. The posters highlight world-renown artists whose work is exhibited in the collections. One of the challenges of the website was to create an intuitive four-level navigation system allowing visitors to easily navigate the entire site from any given point.
