The Education Coalition coalesced its efforts around the idea that one-on-one mentoring, in combination with the support of parents and teachers, can turn a marginalized youth into an inspired and committed student. The coalition's needs were for greater visibility in the community, sustained recruitment of volunteers and committed funding. Our efforts focused on a capabilities brochure, website and powerpoint presentation.
